FAQ

Asked most often

Can I see what the card looks like first?
Yes — email us and we will photograph a blank one on the bench. It is letterpress on cotton stock, roughly the size of a postcard, and your message is written on the inside in black ink.
Can I send it to someone else's address?
That is what most people do. Put their address as the delivery address at checkout and your message on the card. There is no invoice in the box and no pricing on the outside of the parcel.
What if they are not home?
The parcel fits a standard letterbox opening in most cases, and where it does not the courier leaves a card. We do not require a signature, because chasing a depot is not much of a gift.
Can I swap a piece out?
No, and that is deliberate — the four work together and the moment we allow swaps we are back to being a shop that makes you assemble a gift. If one piece is all they need, every piece in the box is also sold on its own in the shop.
Do you do corporate orders?
Ten or more, yes. Email before ordering so we can confirm the timeframe. For a run that size we can use a plain band instead of a ribbon, and print the cards rather than write them if the message is the same on all of them.
Is there a sale coming?
We do not run sales on the box. The price is the price, and discounting a gift a fortnight after someone paid full for it seems like a poor way to treat them.
